Doorway, Belfast
Doorway, Belfast
See J3373 : The Scottish Temperance Buildings, Belfast. In addition to the main entrance at no 16 there is also this lesser entrance at no 15. Not nearly as grand but still unlike any others in Belfast.
The proposed Scottish Mutual hotel site, Belfast

An imposing sandstone, turreted structure at the corner of Donegall Square South and Bedford Street, the Scottish Temperance (later Scottish Mutual) Buildings were built in 1904 to a design by Henry Seaver and remain “as built”. It was reported (July 2013) that the intention is to convert the building into a hotel incorporating ground-floor bars and restaurants.
