Ellenabeich
Ellenabeich
The name Ellenabeich is derived from Eilean a Beich or Eillan a Beitch (if, unlike me, you believe the spelling on the information board), the name of a small island which has been obliterated by quarrying and infilling with slate waste. The rock above the village is Dn Mr.
