Footpath erosion on Pen y Fan
The state of the footpath on the popular route from Pen y Fan to Cribyn can be clearly seen in the upper left part of the photograph. The white shapes are bags of stones, brought in by helicopter, which will be used to make a path and try and stop the existing path becoming ever wider and more eroded.
