Pen y Fan from Corn Du
Pen y Fan from Corn Du
Seen from Corn Du, the Devonian Old Red Sandstone forming Pen y Fan shows up clearly where erosion has taken place on the steep north face and the path between the two mountains. What had started out as thick mist when heading up from the Storey Arms in the morning cleared by lunchtime so that much of Central Wales could be seen.
