SO2718 : North-west end of Sugarloaf
taken 12 years ago, near to Forest Coal Pit, Monmouthshire/Sir Fynwy, Great Britain

North-west end of Sugarloaf
This is the slightly lower north-west end of the Sugarloaf summit ridge. Everyone else is at the trig point, but this rocky extremity is more interesting. A crow hovers in the strong wind funnelling up and over the rocks.
The mountain on the central horizon is Pen Cerrig-calch SO2122 with Pen Allt-mawr SO2024 behind to the right.
