The present picture shows part of the western (or inner) wall of the annexe, the side nearest the centre of the fort; the wall is therefore shared with the fort's outer enclosure. The part shown here is a continuation of the one shown in NS3779 : Carman Hill-fort: western wall of annexe (the present picture shows what is, in that other picture, hidden by the intervening brow of the slope).
