Feral pigeons, Belfast
Feral pigeons are common in the centre of Belfast, feeding on the detritus of human society. In the days before the Westlink and the M3, when grain and feed lorries were common in the city centre, they found rich pickings from spilled goods (off the back of a lorry). This group is close to the Queen’s Bridge.

Queen’s Quay/Queen’s Bridge - proposed improvements
The old part of Queen’s Quay, between the Queen’s and Queen Elizabeth Bridges has been disused since the building of the latter back in the 60’s. There is now an application (10 January 2018) for the following planning permission “LA04/2018/0099/F Replacement Quay with ancillary works Queen's Quay Belfast BT3 9QQ”.
