Railway viaduct at Ballyvoyle
The 43 mile Waterford, Dungarvan and Lismore Railway opened in 1878. The Duke of Devonshire with his Irish seat at Lismore Castle was one of the major shareholders. The line is now disused except for a 10km section near Waterford operated as a narrow gauge heritage railway.
