St. Mary's Church
Neen Savage's parish church has building work from many different periods, as the mixture of windows make very clear. The earliest parts of the church are thought to be 12th century. It was gifted to Wigmore Abbey, in Herefordshire, but their involvement would have ceased by the time of the dissolution of the monasteries in the first half of the 16th century. The south porch dates from the 16th century. A fire in 1825 resulted in the rebuilding of the top of the tower. Formerly there was a timber spire. There was much restoration work carried out on the church in 1882.
