Castles of Munster: Tourin, Waterford
Contained within the Tourin Demesne, and unmarked on the Discovery OS map, Tourin Castle probably dates from the early 17c. A four storey tower house, its first recorded occupier was Edward Gratrix, a tenant of owner Edmund Roche. The castle was eventually sold to the Nettles family in 1780.
