St Anchorite's Rock
St Anchorite's Rock
This impressive looking mass of rock stands clear at the top of the coastal slope. It is called St Anchorite's Rock but I don't believe there is such a saint. However an anchorite in medieval times was a religious hermit so perhaps this rock used to be near such a hermitage.
