This is the fermtoun of Auchtavan which is seen here from a distance up on Meall Gorm at the head of Glen Feardar. The building with the corrugated red iron roof is Auchtavan Cottage which is the oldest of the 3 buildings which can be seen in the image, possibly of late 18th/early 19th century origin.
