taken 15 years ago, near to Wilmington, Devon, England

Trafalgar Way plaque, Wilmington
Trafalgar Way plaque, Wilmington
It commemorates the route of Lieutenant Lapenotiere on his journey from Falmouth to London with the news of the death of Nelson and the battle won at Trafalgar. It is thought that he did not change horses here at the White Hart, as they were still fresh.
