Scotswood Community Garden
Harvest open day.
This community garden was started in 1994 on the site of a former drift mine, and was originally called the Drift Permaculture Project. It has open days a number of times a year and the one today was to celebrate the coming harvest. The promised highland cows didn't show, but on the plus side we did have bees and a talk on bee-keeping
