Great Mullein (Verbascum thapsus)
This is the most common of the various Mullein species in Britain. The examples shown here were growing at the top of Dalquhurn Point; however, the plant was also very common among the extensive patches of Weld that were growing nearby: NS3977 : Weld (Reseda luteola).
