Blenheim Palace (one wing of, at dusk)
I cannot think of many sights more British and impressive than this. Taken from part way down the steep slopes of The Great Lake, this artistic shot of Blenheim Palace captures the true beauty of the birth place of Sir Winston Churchill. The local Cotswold stone (the very same used to construct many local Oxford colleges) captures the evening sun at dusk perfectly. The sheer scale and vast size of this stately home can only be truly appreciated on site. All Britons should visit this at least once in their lifetime.
