The River Conway (Afon Conwy) rises on the Migneint Moors and flows northward for 27 miles to its mouth at Conwy.

Conwy Road Bridge

The new road bridge was built in 1958 and originally carried the A55, until the Conwy tunnel was built in 1991. The bridge now carries the A547 across the Afon Conwy, carrying mostly local traffic.
