Little Italy, Heaton Road, Byker (3/13)
A series of photos of places to eat in either on, or just off, Shields Rd, Byker.
This is just off Shields Road but counts, mainly as it does great, and amazingly cheap, pizza. And, because I once saw a couple aged about 16 having what I think must have been their first date here. Both ordered prawn cocktail, then pizza and they both drank diet coke - they hardly spoke but held hands throughout, it was so romantic it nearly made me cry.
