Top of Hole Hill Lane
Hole Hill Lane leads off Ranmore Common Road on the top of Ranmore, and shortly plunges down the scarp to cross the railway line before arriving in Westcott at the junction of Balchins Lane and Westcott Street. The lower part is a minor tarred road, but this end is recorded as byway open to all traffic Wotton 110. The byway is closed to all wheeled traffic (a ban which is maintained by this barrier near the northern end: view from the other side here: TQ1350 : Top of Hole Hill Lane).
