Langdon Hole near Dover
Langdon Hole near Dover
Looking eastwards from the coastal path across the hollow known as Langdon Hole above Langdon Bay. A zig zag path cut into the chalk descends the nearest part of the chalk cliff seen here and then down a ladder to the beach. At low tide the wreck of the SS Falcon, which caught fire and was beached there in 1926 can be seen, and its remains walked on.
