Track, wall and trees at Ramasaig
Track, wall and trees at Ramasaig
Cattle and sheep are still kept at Ramasaig, though there is only one farm there now, where there was once a thriving community of as many as 22 families.
The tumbling stone wall in this picture is from a former era, and the muddy farm track, which was a busy route to the deserted township of Lorgill, is now only used by walkers visiting the ruins.
