South Yorkshire Police Box, Sheffield
Police boxes were introduced to Sheffield in October 1928 and there were 120 of them around the city. Last used in the 1960s by bobbies on the beat, this one next to the Town Hall has been reopened as a contact point for Sheffield's city centre "ambassadors".
