SP0089 : Four generations of transport

taken 34 years ago, near to Oldbury, Sandwell, Great Britain

Four generations of transport.
Four generations of transport.
The old mainline (Brindley's) from Birmingham to Wolverhampton is crossing the new mainline (Telfords) on a two arch aqueduct. The West Coast Mainline (rail) is crossing the old mainline (canal). The M5 is striding across the lot. There is a slightly blurred electric locomotive hauling a train. This alone is now a period piece.
