St Leonard's Church, Wychnor
This is in the Decorated style, but the eastern arch of the tower is of c.1200 and has an awkward junction with the south aisle. The upper part of the tower was rebuilt in brick in the late 16C or 17C. (Nikolaus Pevsner, Buildings of England - Staffordshire, 1974) The crucifix on the left is the war memorial.
Wychnor parish

Wychnor was a chapelry in Tattenhill parish; it became a separate ecclesiastical parish in 1792, refounded in 1881. It was a township, became a civil parish in 1866, and despite its small population it still has that status.
