Geograph - photograph every grid square

Hiya Stephen. My name's Malcolm. I used to live in Weymouth for a little while in Crescent Street. The Pier Bandstand was bigger than that. It used to extend into the sea but not very far. Apparently one stormy night a small ship ran into it causing extensive damage. The "Bandstand" part of the pier had to be demolished. It was delict for a number of years and then it was refurbished as a present to the Queen in the run up to the Millenium. I don't know when the accident happened but it was not too long ago.
