St. Philip's, Buddle Lane, St. Thomas, Exeter
St. Philip's was built in the 1920's to 'church' the locals from the newly built estate. It was of the traditional tin hut variety with plenty of corrugated iron and basic fittings. In Winter it was draughty and cold, but was also cosy in its way. It was demolished a few years ago and replaced by houses in a street bearing the church's name.
