Lloyds Building
Lloyds Building
Located at 1, Lime Street in London, the Lloyd's building is home to Lloyd's of London insurance market.

Designed by Richard Rogers and built between 1978 and 1986, the building is 'Hi-tech' form of architecture, using shiny surfaces, cutting edge materials and designs that resemble machinery. The Lloyds Building uses large expanses of metal cladding and glass, and has an 'inside-out' look with service pipes and glass lifts on the outside of the building. The centre piece of the building is a large glass barrel-vault roofed atrium, 60 metres high, allowing light to penetrate to four galleried floors.
