Thameslink Viaduct: Shops closed for demolition (2)
This building on Borough High Street at the end of the approach road to London Bridge Station formerly had a fish restaurant on the corner and a couple of other shops on the ground floor. They were closed in 2009 prior to demolition to make way for the Thameslink Viaduct that would be constructed parallel to the existing railway viaduct that can be seen at the left of the photo.
Thameslink viaduct
A viaduct constructed around 2009-2011 to add extra tracks through and to the west of London Bridge railway station to increase capacity on the core north-south route through central London (the "Thameslink" route).
