Sledging, Hove Beach
A steep shingle bank and 10cm of snow deposited on the beach overnight made this an interesting beach activity. The man heading on his way down went without a hitch, the woman and the two children almost ended up with a soaking. She ran down pulling the sled then slipped over on the shingle and nearly got soaked by an incoming wave. This part of the beach is opposite the King Alfred Leisure Centre.
