Slushy Christmas in the Old Bath Road, Sonning
A photo taken at lunchtime on Christmas day, which had quickly become sunny after an overcast morning. The snow, most of which fell on the evening of 21st December, had gradually thawed during subsequent slightly milder days and nights, but there was still a decent coverage on the grass and minor roads remained slushy.
The modern Bath Road, the A4, runs parallel to the left and the railway in Sonning Cutting at a slightly different angle to the right. The properties are large detached houses.
