G7443 : Glencar Water bottling plant

taken 16 years ago, 3 km from Glencar, Co Leitrim, Ireland

Glencar Water bottling plant
Glencar Water bottling plant
The entrance to Glencar Water bottling plant on the edge of Glencar Lough. The water comes from a natural spring in the Dartry Mts.in N.Sligo. It is filtered through 2 miles of rock at a constant temp. of 4 degrees. It is bottled at source so suffers minimal handling and less exposure to possible contamination. In other words, good clean water.
