Albion Terrace, Lynemouth
Albion Terrace, Lynemouth
The village was entirely built as housing for miners at Lynemouth Colliery, opened in 1927. This band of green open space was in fact the line of the original railway connection to Lynemouth Colliery. The modern link was created with the development of the aluminium works.
