The Old Fank, Balliemeanoch
The Old Fank, Balliemeanoch
Classic hill-farm land on Loch Awe. Sheep were once regularly gathered into the beautifully constructed stone walled fank seen in the middle ground of the hill. Pure air, clean water, where the Primrose blooms in Spring, the Curlew calls in Summer, Deer browse in Autumn and the Golden Eagle (occasionally) soars in Winter. God's own country.
