Seagulls keep watch on Derwent Isle
Numerous landing stages dot Derwentwater's shore, and old pilings stick up from the water to provide an additional hazards to boats, but convenient perches for gulls. Derwent Isle lies beyond, with autumn bringing on various different shades in the diverse woodland.
