TQ3303 : Madeira Drive

taken 14 years ago, near to Kemp Town, Brighton And Hove, England

Madeira Drive
Madeira Drive
The eastern end of the road that follows the beach from the Aquarium to Black Rock. Until the 1970s it was possible to access Marine Parade, the A259, from this end but was closed when the access roads for Brighton Marina were developed. Black Rock station, the eastern terminus of the Volks Railway can be seen in the distance whilst the car park to its left is currently home to a large number of Irish travellers.
