Craigleith Avenue South
Sandwiched between the Grade A listed flats at Ravelston Garden and the villas of Ravelston Dykes, Craigleith Avenue South is a double row of angular 1960-ish brick blocks, completely out of keeping with the surrounding buildings. They don't look quite so out of place just after midnight in the dark. The floodlit Castle is on the horizon, the last gasp of the firework display to its left. The three spires to the right of the Castle are St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral (not to be confused with St Mary's Roman Catholic Cathedral which can't be picked out easily from here).
