Boulder garden approaching Parkbeg rocks
Paddling east from Cuan jetty towards more open waters, entertaining rockhopping can be had in this boulder garden, although the pointiness of the rocks rather precludes making a landing. Not much beyond this, the swell from the open ocean started to become more significant, but with only two of us, we couldn't take too many risks. On the other hand, this proved to be a good area for finding beach balls blown out from nearby beaches and campsites, but trapped in small inlets and geos.
