'Ever Changing' and Tyne Theatre, Westgate Road
'Ever Changing' is an conical, polished stainless-steel art-work NZ2464 : Stainless steel sculpture near the City Walls by Eilis O’Connell installed in 2005 at the bottom of Bath Lane almost opposite the Tyne Theatre on Westgate Road. Its name reflects the continual change in the surrounding environment, which is caught on the surface of the sculpture.

The Tyne Theatre NZ2464 : The Tyne Theatre is a Grade 1 Listed building, built in 1867 by W.B. Parnell as a theatre and opera house. The frontage is in an Italianate style. It was bought by Oswald Stoll and opened as cinema in 1919. Inside it has many period features including a set of early stage machinery and a complete switchboard for the earliest electric lighting.
