Radcliffe Viaduct
Radcliffe Viaduct
Originally constructed to carry the railway to Bury, the viaduct and a series of bridges now carries the Metrolink over and around the eastern side of Radcliffe.

The tram in the picture has just left Radcliffe station journeying to Whitefield on its way to Manchester (and ultimately, Altrincham).

Taken from Coronation park, looking over the terraced houses of Irwell Street and industrial premises situated between Irwell Street and Milltown Street.
