NZ4024 : Old station at Thorpe Thewles

taken 19 years ago, near to Thorpe Thewles, Stockton-on-Tees, England

Old station at Thorpe Thewles
Old station at Thorpe Thewles
This old station building is now the Stockton Council's visitor centre for the Wynyard Woodland Park, a linear park aligned along an old railway. The path along the railway was formerly known as the Castle Eden Walkway - indeed that part beyond Stockton's boundary is probably still known by that name. Nearly all the notices still refer to the park by its old name. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )
