Alderman Fenwick's House, Pilgrim Street
A C17 merchant's house, built around 1670, and one of the oldest preserved buildings in Newcastle. Alderman Fenwick was Mayor of Newcastle in 1720. It was later a coaching inn, The Queen's Head, and, more recently, the Liberal Club. The building was restored in 1997, and is now offices.
