Christ Church : East Layton
Christ Church : East Layton
This private chapel was commissioned by Mrs Maynard Proud of East Layton in 1895 (J.P.Pritchett & H.D.Pritchett ; Architects). Supposedly to a design based on Worcester Cathedral, in typical Victorian Gothic fashion with interesting stone carvings and interior. The church operated as a chapel of ease within the parish of Forcett.
