SP3475 : Highland cattle, Stonebridge Meadows

Highland cattle, Stonebridge Meadows
Highland cattle, Stonebridge Meadows
To paraphrase Warwickshire Wildlife Trust's interpretation: the land has escaped agricultural or other development because of frequent flooding (there is some higher ground that the cattle can retreat to). Horses were grazed here for 150 years before cattle were introduced. Former alder coppice woodland is seen on the right.
