Liverpool Canal Link - Princes Dock lock
This is the partly constructed canal link lock at the south-west end of Princes Dock. On the right the canal then disappears into a tunnel where it begins its journey through the Pier Head area. The red building on the left is the Crowne Plaza Hotel with the top of St Nicholas' spire above, and on the right is the iconic Liver Building.
