Caerhays Castle
Built between 1807 and 1810 by the famous architect, John Nash, for the Trevanion family. By 1840 the family was heavily in debt and fled to France leaving Caerhays in the hands of their creditors. Now owned by the Williams family it is open to the public and houses the National Camellia collection.
