SO2455 : Snow-covered Hergest Ridge

taken 9 years ago, near to Gladestry, Powys, Great Britain

Snow-covered Hergest Ridge
Snow-covered Hergest Ridge
View south-west down the spine of the ridge to the valley at Gladestry. Colva Hill on the right. Walking was relatively easy here due to the snow having become more solid after continuous frost. This scene was about a week before the severe snow falls of mid-January 2010, when walking this route and tending the sheep in the fields would have become much more difficult.
