St Martin's Church Lych Gate
St Martin's Church Lych Gate
Constructed in slate rubble with sandstone dressings and roofed in lead, the ancient Parish Church of St Martin was built in 1483 but is of an older foundation (a church has been present on the site since at least 1203). The former rectory is said to have been built in 1415

The church is designated by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 71895 British Listed Buildings).
