Closed for refurbishments - gents toilets at Hebden Bridge railway station
In January 2010 work started refurbishing the toilets on platform 2 at Hebden Bridge station. The female toilets were previously accessed via the waiting room (still signed as the 'ladies room' but the waiting room was open to all). The male toilets seen here were cold, draughty, partially open to the elements, and, after rain, passengers had to negotiate puddles in the cubicles. Since this photo was taken the gate has been removed and a new wooden door fitted which will give access to ladies, gents and disabled facilities.
