Rowley Burn at Dye House
The walk along the Rowley Burn from Whitley Mill via Mollersteads, Steel, Dye House to Blackhall Mill is one of Northumberland’s hidden gems. It is very peaceful by a tranquil burn and not a shop or pub in sight. If this was in the south tourists would flock to this area --- thankfully they don’t. It isn’t necessarily a place I would like to live but I have always enjoyed walking in this area and we often play “spot the person”. Juniper is also worth a visit.
