The bridge NZ2463 : Evening light on Redheugh Bridge has two lanes for cars in each direction and a pedestrian footpath only on the east side. The traffic crosses at great speed (despite the 50 mph limit) and all is very exposed in high winds. The building to the left, mostly below the bridge level is the Metro Radio Arena NZ2463 : Metro Arena, Newcastle-upon-Tyne
